An opportunity is available for an experienced Tax Administrator to join a small-medium sized firm that specializes in Auditing, Accounting, and Tax that is based in Cape Town.
Requirements:
- Matric and tertiary qualification in Tax.
- 2,5 to 3 years' experience from a Chartered Accountant or SAIPA Firm.
- Proficient on MS Excel on an intermediate level.
- Well organized and well-structured individual with good time-management skills, capable of managing their workflow, work-in-progress schedules.
Proficient with the following responsibilities:
- Preparation of Income tax returns in respect of individuals, Close Corporations, Companies, and Trusts;
- Income-tax assessments ITA34's.
- Dealing with SARS.
- Uploading of supporting documentation as requested by SARS.
- EMP501 processes and procedures in conjunction with the obtaining of IRP5 employees tax certificates.
- Statutory Registrations, including VAT, PAYE (incorporating UIF & SDL), and COIDA/Workmen's Compensation.
- SARS' e-filing and SARS' easy-file.
- Registering clients for the first time on SARS' e-filing and attending to the transfer of clients registered on a SARS' e-filing profile.
- Timesheet maintenance and assisting with billings in the Tax Department.
- Personable individual who is able to get along with Clients and Peers alike.
