Assistant Accountant

My Client, a highly successful and progressive company based in Kings Lynn are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking for a supportive company that offers great career progression and development. As the Assistant Accountant reporting into both the Group Financial Controller and Group Financial Director, you will be tasked with supporting the Group FC with the preparation of Statutory consolidated management accounts and UK's monthly management accounts. The main responsibilities of this role include: - Month end duties including prepayments and accruals - Completing balance sheet reconciliation's including foreign bank accounts - product and project profitability and cost analysis - VAT returns, EC Sale's and intrastat decelerations and analysis - Stock valuations and reconciliation - Fixed Asset Register and depreciation The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified and working towards an ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification, and have strong excel skills, knowledge of ERP systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Prior experience within a similar role, either industry or practice, is required and Manufacturing experience is advantageous.
