Financial Controller

A Financial Controller is sought by this successful and profitable division of a global business to manage the accounts function and support the Managing Director of their Bedford based facility.You will form part of the Senior Management Team, manage three staff and have a joint reporting line to the local MD and the US parent company. Duties will include:* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements(VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax)* Collate and reconcile financial information for month end* Preparation of annual budgets and presentation to parent company* Review actual v budget on a monthly basis and follow up on variances* On-going Cost accounting calculations and project costing on an ad-hoc basis* Monthly and quarterly reporting* Review and authorise monthly payroll* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and deal with auditors* Monthly and annual tax calculations and returnsTo apply you should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant post qualification experience gained in a Manufacturing environment.
