EMEA General Ledger Assistant Accountant - 5 month Contract A Global leading business is seeking the talents of an EMEA General Ledger Assistant Accountant to join their company based in Camberley. This opportunity has an immediate start available and in joining this innovative company your main focus will be to support the General Ledger team in providing effective and efficient financial reporting and accounting services. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the General Ledger team with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.Balance Sheet reconciliations across foreign currencies.GL Journal preparation; Accruals, Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Inventory and Payroll across multiple currencies.Experience of VAT and Corporate Tax requirements for UK / other EMEA countries.Preparation of statutory accounts to local GAAP reporting standardsAssist with systems and process enhancement Candidate: ACCA or CIMA Part-Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience.Previous regional (EMEA) accounting experience / previous experience working in an IFRS compliant environment is beneficial.Prior experience of working with a major accounting system as Oracle or SAP.Must be an advanced user of Excel.Ability to speak a second European Language would be beneficial but not essential We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and comply with all relevant UK legislation.
