Financial Controller

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished accountant to join a well established environmental engineering business as Financial Controller and support the FD with an ever increasing workload as the business continues to expand.As Financial Controller you will be responsible for a broad range of Financial accounting functions primarily Fixed assets and depreciation, bank and trust account reconciliations, preparation of management accounts including year end and cash flow management.You will also be responsible for payroll processing including RTI and Auto Enrolment, intrastats, P11D and benefits in kind accounting, job accruals and prepayments, government statistics and credit control.This is a challenging and varied role and will require good people management skills as you will leading a small team to satisfy all of the functions above. As a Financial Controller you will be either Part or Fully qualified CIMA or ACCA and have a demonstrable track record of managing small teams in a busy, multi site environment.You will also need to have a thorough understanding of current payroll processes including auto-enrolment, be highly confident in the use of Excel including look ups and pivot tables and possess a knowledge of Sage or Navision accountancy packages.This is a great place to work offering a relaxed office environment within a successful and expaning business.Reed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
