Commercial Finance Manager

Partner Financial are currently working with a global media business, who have ambitious growth plans for the next 3-5 years. Finance will play a key role in their expansion and therefore they are looking for a driven, charismatic individual to join them as a Commercial Finance Manager. The organisation has a strong brand within the entertainment industry and has a unique blend of content production and distribution globally. The Commercial Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to take responsibility for all finance activities relating to subscriber, advertising and programme revenue. An analytical mind-set is required to ensure you are able to influence and support decision making, partnering closely with the Senior Management Team. The client is looking for an ambitious individual who can build relationships outside of finance, is able to influence and able to drive growth. Key responsibilities: Supporting the Commercial FD with adhoc analysis including subscriber, advertising and programme revenue;Supporting decision support through extensive modelling regarding revenue and new markets;Preparing, maintaining and commenting on KPI dashboards;Business partnering with key SVP of sales and supporting the 5 year planning process;Periodic actualisation and scenario analysis to support the running of the company forecast model;Analysing new business cases that have a revenue component;Recruiting, developing and mentoring a small team;Overseeing month end close, preparing reporting, budgeting and forecasting;Business partnering with commercial teams and providing post investment appraisals. The ideal candidate will be: CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified with excellent analytical skills;Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to influence commercial decision making;Able to demonstrate proven experience managing revenue;Confident at creating and building Excel models;Confident presenting findings & results to senior stakeholders, specifically within the commercial team;Able to demonstrate experience working within Film, TV or Media;The type of person who thrives when working under pressure.
