Description
Your role will cover various reporting and analytical tasks including but not limited to:
* Analyse indirect costs and provide trend analysis and evaluation
* Be responsible for all accruals and prepayments
* Responsibility for cash flow income, forecasting and reporting
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts for multiple ledgers including bank accounts and fixed asset registers
* Assist with the reconciliation and preparation of all applicable VAT reconciliations and reclaims
* Prepare foreign currency translation analysis and monitor any hedge loan facilities and its impact on key financial metrics
* Analyse intercompany transactions that may be having an impact on the region's performance
* Provide headcount tracking and forecasting for internal management and board reporting
* Manage the vacation tracking of employees ensuring the vacation liability balance is kept in check
* Take responsibility for all National Statistic returns
* Evaluate, document and design optimised and standardised finance processes
* Act as lead analyst on complex special projects and/or ad hoc reporting requests
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
* 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis and accounting
* Knowledge of the architecture or design industry is highly desirable, but not mandatory for strong candidates
* Strong research and analysis skills
* Excellent working knowledge of advanced Excel and other MS tools
* Knowledge of Deltek Vision and Tableau a plus
* Willingness to learn and to try new things
* Financial rigour, analytical ability and attention to detail
* Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
* Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
