Description

As an Assistant Management Accountant based in the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

Team this is a varied role to support the production of Management Accounts and Reporting and has arisen due to internal promotion within the Finance Department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation and Processing of Daily Purchase and Sales Invoices

• Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Coding and posting journals - accruals and prepayments
• Assist with Cash flow Forecasts

• Processing Cash Payments and Receipts

• Bank Reconciliations

• Supporting the Deputy Finance Manager with monthly reconciliations for accruals and prepayments

• Assist the Deputy Finance Manager issue resolutions

• General Accounting duties

Profile

• Strong excel skills required

• Familiarity with accounting areas including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, nominal ledger and reporting

• Double entry accounting knowledge

• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation both internal and external
• Numerate

• Logical

• Methodical

• Able to work on own initiative

Job Offer

Salary £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
