Description
As an Assistant Management Accountant based in the Farnham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:
Team this is a varied role to support the production of Management Accounts and Reporting and has arisen due to internal promotion within the Finance Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation and Processing of Daily Purchase and Sales Invoices
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Coding and posting journals - accruals and prepayments
- Assist with Cash flow Forecasts
- Processing Cash Payments and Receipts
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supporting the Deputy Finance Manager with monthly reconciliations for accruals and prepayments
- Assist the Deputy Finance Manager issue resolutions
- General Accounting duties
Profile
- Strong excel skills required
- Familiarity with accounting areas including bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, nominal ledger and reporting
Double entry accounting knowledge
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation both internal and external
- Numerate
- Logical
- Methodical
- Able to work on own initiative
Job Offer
Salary £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
