Description

The key responsibilities for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant Manager will:

  • Maintenance of Financial Ledgers
  • Maintenance and archive of accurate records
  • Ensuring that key controls are operating effectively
  • Management of an AP Team alongside line manager
  • Dealing with external queries with effective communication throughout process
  • Effective Stakeholder Management
  • Month End and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Journal and Payment Approvals
  • Control of Employee Expenses and Credit Cards
  • Review of Aged Debt and Management of Debit Balances
  • Ad-hoc tasks as dictated by Line Manager

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Accounts Payable Assistant Manager:

  • Being immediately available or with a relatively short notice period (1 week)
  • Proven experience in a similar previous role
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a multi-disciplined team
  • Ability to liaise and work with Senior Stakeholders
  • Excellent analytic skills and an ability to problem solve
  • Great organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills required
