The revenue team currently stands at 5 and I have been engaged to hire a new team member. Your experience of revenue and of leading a team will ultimately determine your role with the the team, Manager or Team Lead. Your new role You will work closely with pricing, finance, accounting, and sales teams to drive a strategy of pricing and VSOE consistency, and you will utilise analytical skills and technical expertise to execute revenue strategies. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills combined with an ability to learn quickly and understand the competitive business environment. Liaise with Sales to understand how deals are to be structured, help them understand any resulting rev rec implications and how the different scenarios will be accounted for Enforce pricing and discount strategies that reflect corporate and divisional objectives and margins by working closely with sales teams on proposal quotations to mitigate VSOE outliers. Steward the increased tightening of maintenance and services pricing to ensure VSOE compliance by tracking maintenance renewal and services proposals. Closely interact with business leaders and communicate analytical results on a regular and ad hoc basis to sales and accounting management Continually educate the sales and services organisations on the role of pricing consistency and VSOE adherence to overall performance. What you'll need to succeed You must have Revenue Pricing Recognition experience, a high level of Excel, in depth understanding of the pricing function, experience in accounting for software revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 985-605, EITF08.1 EITF 09.03 and related TPAs.
