Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has come up for a part qualified or finalist level Finance Accountant/Manager to join a team of 5 in an international film and TV production and distribution organisation. You will have 2 direct reports and will be responsible for overseeing their work as well as the management accounts and audit process.

Client Details

The company you would be working for are a FTSE 250 business with headquarters in America, who operate worldwide across 4 continents. You would be working for one of the small subsidiaries who are located in the EMEA headquarters in the West End.

You would be reporting into the Financial Controller in a team of 5 working as part of the wider business.

Description

Your role will involve:

• Financial reporting - month end/year end, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset register and depreciation
• Variance analysis and quarterly reporting in line with US and UK GAAP
• Daily banking, reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
• Liaising with external auditors and preparing statutory accounts
• Assisting with audit process
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Overseeing the function of AP/AR and supervising an accountant
• Payroll function - reporting and analysis

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Working towards a qualification (ACA/ACCA) and in the final stages
• Experienced in a similar Finance Manager or Accountant position
• Experienced in supervising junior staff
• Personable and strong communicator (oral and written)
• Experienced with payroll, VAT and statutory accounts

Job Offer

This is a 6 month contract for an Interim Finance Manager

£190-£230 per day dependent on experience
