Property Investment business in West London is expanding its finance team and is recruiting for a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant.

Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a broad role with a range of duties covering month end accounting duties, budgets and forecasts as well as the management of the accounts payable function.

Duties include:

• Assisting with various month end duties
• Bi-annual forecast and annual budgeting
• Assist with the review of accounts prepared by the property managers/operators/outsourced agents for a portfolio of assets and management reporting for the portfolio of assets and Management Company.
• Preparation of credit review on tenants and suppliers
• VAT computation and reporting to head office in accordance with overseas tax requirements
• Overall responsibility for the AP closing, inter-company reconciliations, preparation and monitoring of AP ageing.
• Assisting in SAP implementation for UK entities e.g. Material Management Module (for procurement), GL module.

Profile

You must be Part Qualified / actively studying for your ACCA or CIMA qualification

Keenness to do a broad accounting role

Month end closing experience

VAT

Accounts Payable closing

Ideally property or financial services experience but applications will be considered from other sectors.

Must be able to work in West London location - Hammersmith.
