Accounts Assistant

My client are a growing Building and Construction organisation who are based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their established Finance team and run their UK division, dealing with all aspects of Finance but particularly Accounts Payables. The salary they are offering is £22,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience with great benefits attached, free parking and a stable environment.

My client are a construction organisation with offices in the UK and Europe wide. Their head office is based in the heart of St. Albans and they are seeking an Accounts Assistant to run their UK division. This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and stable team who offer great training and a collaborative environment. This role will involve Accounts Payables, monthly reconciliations, preparing all company purchase orders and much more. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, ideally an AAT studier who enjoys working as part of a team and is looking for a long standing career.

Description

• Reporting into a hands on Financial Director and assisting him with ad hoc reporting
• Running the UK division
• Maintaining Receivables and Payables Ledgers
• Monthly reconciliations
• Marinating bank records
• Assisting FD in all aspects of Company administrative management
• Preparing all company purchase orders for FD
• Assisting with month end duties
• Licensing, contracts, invoicing

Profile

• An experienced Accounts Assistant who has experience of Accounts Payable predominantly
• A hard working candidate who enjoys working as part of a team
• Local to St Albans, parking is provided
• The ability to multi task and assist others when necessary
• Happy to muck in and be involved with all tasks
• Proficient with Excel is a must (spread sheets)
