Graduate Assistant AccountantBury£18,000 plus Study SupportAn opportunity has been created for anyone looking for a graduate position that can offer full study support towards a professional accountancy qualification.You will be working for one of the region's leading recruiters; and unlike other graduate roles this position will give you exposure to monthly management accounts from day one.Reporting into the Finance Manager you will need to demonstrate that you are an ambitious and highly motivated individual that is committed to a long term career in finance.On a daily basis you will be working alongside the Management Accountant and assisting with the production of monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budgets.It's both a rare and ideal opportunity for anyone that is due to graduate in 2017 or anyone that has built up experience in accounts having graduated in 2016.Below is a breakdown of some of your key responsibilities; anyone interested in the position is encouraged to apply early.*Assist with the production of monthly management accounts taking full ownership for Fixed Assets and Prepayments*Assistance with annual budget and monthly re-forecasts *Production of quarterly VAT returns.*Production of monthly sales reportsApplicants for the role will need to be able to demonstrate:*University degree or equivalent*Interest in studying towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA)*Excellent communication skills *Ability to work on own initiative
