The Role:

A very exciting opportunity has been made available for an experienced Group Reporting Manager to join the groups CFO Office in the Finance Department to partner with the business and provide financial services and insights. The role is sits within a high performing financial institution renowned for its great team culture, with the opportunity for progression and development in the role.



Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of statutory reporting statements for the group and all the related entities
• Preparation of month-end financial accounting procedures including the calculations and posting of transactions
• Investigation of accounting & reporting issues and preparation of accounting and reporting file notes or guidance papers
• Preparation of technical accounting papers on new accounting standards, new products or business initiatives
• Take part in ad-hoc finance projects & BAU general ledger reconciliations
• Staff management and training of direct reports to ensure effective people leadership
• Engage in capital expenditure monitoring and engage in multiple stakeholders across the business

Key Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA Qualified
• Multiple years Big 4 accounting experience followed by 4+ years of financial services experience
• Detailed knowledge of accounting practices within the finance industry
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Experience in preparing listed entity statutory financial statements
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and listening) with an ability to communicate complex and/or financial issues in an understandable manner
