Junior Accountants Duties:

Salary: £16,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience / Background

Junior Accountants Duties:
- Responsible for bookkeeping and preparation and filing of vat returns
- Liaising with clients to collate records
- Preparation of payroll and autoenrollment.
- Assisting seniors with preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
- Assisting director with engagement letters plus relevant documentation for new clients
- Updating and requesting money laundering documentation from clients
- Company secretarial duties including setting up limited companies and filing of confirmation statements, setting up payroll and registering clients for VAT
- Assisting Director to maintain and update client database
Junior Accountant requirements:
- Ideally at least 4 months experience within an Accountancy Practice
- No long than 18 months experience within Practice
- Excellent communication skills
- Good presentation and organisational skills
- Experience with various Accounting software will be useful, though not essential
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently at times
Salary: £16,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience / Background
