Finance Analyst

Cambridge, Cambridgeshire- A leading manufacturing business with offices in Cambridge are looking for an up and coming accountant with an analytical bias to join their team in this newly created role.

Working closely with the Senior Commercial Analyst you will help support the wider busy and division in both mainstream finance work including month end but be part of the commercial team to develop your analytical skillset. The business are continuing to grow and pays testament to this newly created position with the support of head office.

The role is varied with a crossover of duties which include: Month and year end processes to support the finance function throughout the business, assist with audit preparation for compliance reason while developing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports with support of senior staff to help develop you professionally. As a finance analyst you will be involved in helping the commercial team put together ad-hoc projects for head office and operation teams across the sales and marketing departments.

The successful applicant will be studying an accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) with experience in mainstream finance and some exposure to variance work. You will have an inquisitive mindset with the ability to communicate well across a variety of platforms to provide all relevant information in the required time frames.

Salary £30,000- £40,000 + study package
