Marc Daniels are working closely with a key client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant based in Wokingham. The role will be reporting to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of management accounts for a recently acquired UK and Ireland subsidiaries, including balance sheet and profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Responsible for local statutory filing and working with external tax advisors
Responsible for completing corporation tax returns
Responsible for carrying out intercompany reconciliations
Responsible for budgeting and preparation using TM1 Software
Maintenance of cash book and completion of month end journalsThe ideal candidate would:
Currently be studying for CIMA or ACCA qualifications and considered to be at or close to Part Qualified.
Have achieved their qualifications so far while working in a financial role which complements the studies for at least 1 year.
Be familiar with accounting processes and current accounting standards
Have a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
Have excellent communication skills.Special Requirements:
Willingness to travel to other UK offices on a regular basis (likely either weekly or fortnightly), with occasional travel to Europe and possibly US
Foreign language skills would be advantageous
