Financial Reporting Manager - 3 Month Contract - Permanent

• Big 4 or Chartered Audit background is necessary
• Very exciting opportunity with a multinational hospitality business
• Technically challenging year end role in a fast paced environment
• 3 Month contract focusing on APAC Group and Statutory reporting

The Role:

A very exciting and technically challenging Financial Reporting Manager contracting role for 3 months has become available. This role focuses on statutory reporting and group reporting for the APAC regions and will be reporting directly into the Director of Financial Reporting. Candidates that are immediately available or on a short notice period are required. Audit and Statutory reporting background is absolutely necessary.

Responsibilities

• Leading the statutory reporting audit process for APAC entities
• Overseeing the audit process within the company's Global Business Service Centre
• Preparation of Financial Statements for necessary entities
• Ensure audited financial statements are signed in a timely fashion to meet the statutory filling requirements
• Audit co-ordination with the external auditors and provide audit schedules on specific areas
• Assist the Director of Financial Reporting in assessing the implication of any new IFRS standards for the regions
• Other ad hoc tasks to assist the team in general to complete statutory reporting and half year reporting obligations
• This role will also be involved in project works either at local or global level as required

Key Requirements:

• Must have Big 4 Audit or chartered experience
• 10+ Years' experience including 4+ years in a large international corporate organisation
• Fully conversant in IFRS is absolutely necessary
• Group reporting across APAC is vital
• CA or CPA qualified
• Preparation of Statutory reports is essential
• Caseware experience
• Advanced Excel skills is a must (Pivot tables)
• Hands on worker with a can do attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
