FMCG business looking for a Site Finance Business Partner to lead, manage and develop the Finance Team on site.

Client Details

To lead the Site Finance Function, whilst providing key Financial, Operational and Commercial business partner support to the Site General Manager and the wider management Team. This role will provide key support to all department managers, helping to develop Financial and Operational understanding and responsibility and enable the teams to take ownership and make the correct business decision based on the management information provided. The role will also be able to take the financial results and turn them into meaningful actions to drive improvements at the site.

Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Function as a key member of site Management Team
  • Provided key support to the GM on business decision making
  • Provide guidance and support and timely management info to the site SLT to enable to act not only on any risks but also opportunities
  • Improve the quality/accuracy of site Financial reporting
  • Provide a robust review and commentary of weekly site accounts & weekly bridge but moreover turn the results into an action plan for site improvements
  • Provide monthly in-depth operational and financial analysis of Monthly performance (vs Weeklies / Budgeting)
  • Assist in development of site Strategic, Financial and Operational planning processes
  • Development of site KPI process / daily & weekly review of KPI process
  • Responsible for annual Site Budgeting process
  • Assist site management in improving Operational performance through the identification of margin improvements / KPI improvements / other projects

Profile

  • Qualified accountant
  • Ideally experienced within FMCG/Manufacturing environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Significant experience of using MS Excel to an advanced level
  • Sound understanding of the Finance function within a Manufacturing environment
  • Sound understanding of Manufacturing Operational processes
  • A confident approach with ability to manage and interact with all levels
  • Good commercial skills and thought processes
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Highly able to present, challenge & communicate
