Head of corporate reporting

Responsibilities:

• Take a part in the financial reporting function and preparation of MD&A
• Responsibility for delivery and analysis of half- and year-end financial datapack in line with agreed timetables
• Analysis of critical exposures and impairments at reporting dates, communication with external auditors on analysis of critical risk areas
• Take a part in analysis of monthly management accounts
• Work with key department heads in gathering information for the annual report, drafting sections of annual report, communication with designers and participation in day-to-day administration of annual reporting process
• Benchmarking of best practice in corporate reporting for public companies, filing all new requirements/recommendations and participation in further implementation into internal processes
• Take a part in identifying and remedying any weaknesses so that management and financial reporting processes are continuously improved
• Joint work with remuneration department on reporting of executive remuneration and application of longterm incentive schemes.

Requirements:

• Higher education in economics
• 3-4 years of auditing in big4
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS + ACCA qualification (or exams in progress)
• Knowledge of audit standards and approaches. Experience of communication with internal audit functions at clients would be a benefit
• Experience of IFRS transformation and preparation of disclosure notes
• Significant external IFRS audit experience (preferably, in industry sector)
• Excellent business English, strong written English skills
• Advanced IT skills (1C Enterprise, Excel and Power Point)
• Knowledge of budgeting, management accounting and financial analysis principles
• Strong communication skills and proactivity
• Good combination of analytical thinking and writing ability
• Attention to details, responsibility.
