Audit Senior/Semi Senior

POSITION:  AUDIT SENIOR/SEMI SENIOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established medium sized Audit, Accounting and Tax Consultancy firm located in the Drogheda area of the Republic of Ireland and servicing clients from a wider area are currently looking to recruit a qualified/part qualified accountant with some previous experience for our busy accounting practice.

The candidate will obtain a wide range of experience based on the extensive and varied client base of the practice.  Further education is always encouraged and supported.

The candidate should have at least two or three years’experience in practice and be able to carry out the following work:

• Prepare Audit and Audit Exempt Financial Statements

• Complete annual returns and all necessary documentation for the Companies Registration Office.

• Have a good understanding of Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, PAYE etc.

• The candidate should be able to operate within a team and be motivated to work on their own in given tasks.

• Advance knowledge in software packages such as Sage, Thesaurus, MS Office and Excel would be of benefit.

REMUNERATION:  Will be based on the level of experience.
