Management Accountant

Your new company Our client is a leading global manufacturer with a market reach covering US, Europe, Latin America and the middle east. Due to significant investment in recent years the company has experienced major growth, with top class R&D leading to major product breakthroughs. They are currently looking to recruit a management accountant to join the team in Mayo. This is an entry level role, although manufacturing experience is highly desirable. Your new role You will be joining a small team of accountants and will be responsible for assisting in various management accounting tasks. Your focus will be on cost management and reduction, cost analysis, business planning, volume forecasting, labour planning, scenario analysis and modelling. Project management and ERP system management will also be key parts of the role. You will be trained by a highly experienced team with a key focus on your future development. What you'll need to succeed Newly qualified accountants (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) would be ideal for this role. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years on-site manufacturing or international SSC environment are highly sought. The client is looking for individuals who are team players with good interpersonal skills, driven to excel in a demanding environment and able to manage and balance priorities with ease. Excellent analytical skills required, with an ability to efficiently and effectively resolve issues. Problem solvers, critical thinkers and active learners will do very well in this role.
