My client is a fantastic, software cyber-security firm who are passionate about what they do. They have grown significantly since they opened their doors in Belfast and their specialised product is now used globally. As an Assistant Accountant within the firm, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including month and quarter end reporting, ensuring assigned orders are correctly processed, managing the billing process, review and signoff of orders and providing audit assistance when required. You will be working within a face paced finance environment which offers potential for ambitious individuals. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to progress with their professional accountancy qualifications as development of employees is a key objective for all departments. You will need to be part qualified or newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA). With the finance function, you will need to be an excellent team player, eager to work in tandem with other team members, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative is essential. The assistant accountant will need to have a strong working knowledge of Excel.
