Finance and Investment Manager, Private Equity

THE COMPANY

My client is a first tier asset management firm with assets under management of over US$9 billion. They provide a wide range of corporate advisory services, particularly in the areas of corporate resumption, mergers & acquisitions, IPO, compliance advice, investment advisory and asset management. Because of their fast growing business, they are now looking for a Finance and Investment Manager for their Finance team.

THE ROLE

Report to the Director, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Investment Management & Support Team and other investment managers in managing the investment related financial information;
• Enhancing and implementing training on regulatory, compliance policies and procedures to all employees;
• Monitoring the investment costs and finance related info;

• Preparing quarterly & annual accounting entries for individual Fund and SPV entities;

• Participating in private equity investment structuring and financial reporting;
• Working with investment team on understanding the investment structure, providing accounting and tax advice to facilitate the whole investment;

• Reviewing the corporate accounting report and financial returns reports to SFC;

• Maintaining the financial control environment and process of the Company;
• Working closely with different operation teams.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• University graduated in Finance, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
• At least 6 years relevant experience gained from asset management firms/ Big 4.
• Strong Analytical in problem solving, able to make recommendations;
• Strong business sense and people skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
