Client Details

Description

Duties of the successful accounts assistant will include:


1.

Assisting the accountants with overhead cost analysis and forecasting, by preparation of schedules and investigating queries.


2.

Posting petty cash and foreign currency transactions into SAP. Reconcile monthly including counting the cash. Responsible for petty cash controls and issuing cash to authorized employees.


3.

Preparation of cost reports.


4.

Posting monthly accruals and prepayments, and daily banking transactions into SAP. Assist with resolution of banking transaction queries.


5.

Analysis of costs for the tax computations.


6.

Assist with preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations


7.

Assisting the Purchase Ledger Controller with matching purchase invoices to POs, processing in SAP and purchase ledger payment runs. Reconciliation of supplier statements.


8.

Preparation of National Statistic Returns


9.

To carry out the monthly inter-company reconciliations, liaising with Head Office and all group subsidiaries as necessary. Preparation of intercompany charges including recycled cartridges


10.

Process all manual invoices/credits


11.

Support the wider finance team with any questions, queries and administrative tasks including filing.


12.

Any other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Finance Manager

Profile

To be considered for this role, candidates are required to have strong GCSE & A-levels and will ideally be studying towards AAT.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is keen to develop a career within a great business and be mentored and guided into more complex accounting duties.
