We are recruiting for a well-established & profitable FMGC business. This company has seen a significant uplift in business over the past few years and would now like to recruit a Financial Controller to join their dedicated and growing finance team.

The Role…

This exciting new position gives you an un-rivalled opportunity to be involved in a wide range of finance projects across the business.

Reporting directly to the FD, you will be responsible for providing analysis of financial information to support and guide management decisions.

Team perspective

·Head office organisation of 12 people

·Join 3 other individuals in the finance team to support delivery of organisational objectives.

·Matrix organisation with the role reporting into Head of Finance.

·Close interaction expected with the Group's central finance organisation.

Experience and background

·ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

·Good understanding of acquisition accounting

·Excellent knowledge of SAGE 50/50c/200 capabilities and experience of optimising SAGE performance in SME environment

·Financial accountant for SME in retail/distribution sector with turnover over £20m

·Knowledge of relevant regulation

Responsibilities

·Manage financial accounting and statutory reporting.

·Prepare management accounts and manage information flow from SAGE into Group's systems.

·Provide insights into business performance to support decision making.

·As part of the team coordinate SAGE enhancement project.

·Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.
