Responsibility for the delivery of cost effective and efficient accounting and financial systems.Ensure that financial, accounting and payroll processes are in place, and reviewed as necessary. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash to maintain financial integrity.Hands on approach with all general accounts matters.Develop and prepare a monthly reporting package and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.Manage and develop the finance team to ensure they are aligned with the organisation`s strategic goals by providing guidance and support to facilitate the team reaching their full potential.Work with all departments of the business to help them plan and manage their budgets.Give strategic advice when needed, based on the financial data analysis from reports.Work closely with the CEO to help the overall business so it makes the most money it can.Responsible for monitoring and analysing business performance.A proven track record of implementing strong financial controls to ensure financial, reporting and performance targets are met.Ability to operate and communicate at a Senior Management and Director level with both internal and external stakeholders and organisations. You will have... Hold a relevant Accountancy qualification either through ACCA or CIMAFirst class communication and excellent people skills Commercial and business awarenessProven financial leadership in recruitment or a similar marketExemplary management and team motivation skills Organisation and time management skillsCritical thinking and an ability to make quick but good decisions Good working knowledge of accounts computer packages ideally with knowledge of Sage Line 50Sound IT skills (specifically in Microsoft Excel)An analytical, enquiring mindGood problem solving, management and prioritisation skillsHighly analytical and the ability to challenge constructivelyExperience of reporting to a Senior LevelA good team player with a hands-on, can do attitudeMust have energy, ambition and enthusiasm to grow and lead in a fast growing organisation Ability to cope with periods of high workloads and prioritise tasksProven technical accounting skills Lucy - in/suttonlucy
