Management Accountant

Hire Republic are currently partnering with an exciting and rapidly growing business based in Reading. Due to our long standing relationship, the business have trusted us to seek a strong part qualified Management Accountant to joining their expanding team.

The company have recently undergone a large acquisition of a number of their competitors both in the UK & Europe and are fast becoming recognised as the UK & Europe's biggest distributor of electrical goods. This is a fantastic opportunity new a part qualified Accountant to get exposure to high volume, methodical work flow.

Key responsibilities

• Detailed analysis of all stock returns from supplies and customers on a Daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Credit control responsibilities, following up and reconciling outstanding credits from suppliers
• Reconciling and following up all returns via the warehouses,ensuring prompt turnaround
• Support finance function ,assisting the Stock Accountant with balance sheet stock accounts reconciliations
• Validation of any gains/through price changes
• Monthly balance sheet account reconciliation of relevant account
• Working with the relevant teams to monitor returns process and implementing new systems where necessary to ensure efficient working logic and to ensure the company is receiving all credit due promptly.
• Assisting with any additional tasks as requested by the Finance function.

• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive commercially minded individual with excellent communication skills
• Able to communicate at all levels, and articulate issues and affect change
• Part qualified management accountant, studying either ACCA/ACA or CIMA
• Must have excellent Excel skills
