Job Title: AP (Accounts Payable) Specialist

We currently have a vacancy for an AP (Accounts Payable) Specialist with our client based in Dublin 2. Candidates must be available to commence Monday 2nd of September for a temporary period.
The Role: AP (Accounts Payable) Specialist
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm
- You will manage the whole process from Invoice entry all the way through to payment
- You will review invoices and payment requests
- You can ensure accuracy of invoice matching as well as invoice coding
- You will have experience recording daily transactions / invoices into accounting system (Oracle)
- You have previously set invoices up for payment
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date
- Run and reconcile Prepaid accounts
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Manage our fixed asset accounting
- Understand basic bookkeeping/accounting principals
- Understand how to maintain financial information confidentially and appropriately handle sensitive communications
Experience:
- 3 year + experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Experience with multi currency, multi entity payments.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Have a working knowledge of Fixed asset management
- Desired Skills
- Experienced in Project Management
Computer knowledge:
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office products, expert level in Excel and Word
- Knowledge of G-Suite is helpful
- Oracle experience preferred
- Experienced in Project Management
Education:
- Accounting Technician / IATA Qualification
