Badenoch & Clark are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst for a large national brand who are looking for a talented accountant to join their financial analysis team.
The Role...
*Preparation of weekly & monthly reporting
*Completion of relevant commentary and variance analysis
*Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to ensure PO's are processed in an accurate & timely manner
*Responsibility of GRNI balance sheet accounts/monitoring & reconciling of balances with the Sales & Marketing team
*Regular investigation of GRNI balances & blocked invoices
*Liaising with AP department to resolve all payment & invoice queries, & supplier management
*Relevant communications with Group Reporting & Sales & Marketing
*Monitor billing exception reports & fraud reporting, highlighting exceptions immediately
*Work closely with Technology & Sales & Marketing to ensure all operational issues are identified & resolved in a timely manner
*Continuous review of financial information to ensure it is appropriate & relevant
*Work with Sales & Marketing Finance Team to ensure alignment & efficiencies
*Ad hoc tasks as required
The Person...
*Actively studying ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
*Commercially aware coupled with strong accounting skills
*Rigorous analytical skills with good attention to detail
*Strong excel skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Proven logistical & organisation skills
*SAP knowledge is desirable
*Confident & professional manner
*Willingness to challenge existing practice & implement process improvement
*Ability to build & maintain effective working relationships with internal & external stakeholders, both financial & non-financial
*A good team player capable of flexibility
