A Commercial Finance Analyst opportunity has become available within a worldwide FMCG business for a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA commercial accountant who has experience working in a FMCG environment. This will offer a challenging and fast paced environment and the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge of commercial finance.

Your new role
As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be assisting the UK budgets and forecasts for advertising & promotions and customer pricing. You will be offering commercial input to senior management that will contribute to key business decision such as investments and product development. This will require you to business partner with the sales and category teams to monitor and review pricing plans.

During month end, you will support the UK reporting by preparing month end actual's and co-ordinate the preparation of monthly commercial reporting. You will also be responsible for producing the UK consumer profit & loss statement to support the commercial analysis, budget and strategic planning.

A big part of your role will see you being the go to person for tender negotiations and cost saving strategies that will improves margins across the business. This will include reviewing consumer contracts and sales to ensure the business is performing to the correct standard and budgets. You will use this information business partner across the business and direct management to improve performance and margins.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this Commercial Finance Analyst role you must be a ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant. Experience is an FMCG business is essential as you will need an understanding of how this business operates. Excel will be a key tool you will use in this role and SAP system experience is beneficial.
