Key responsibilities may include:
End to end responsibility for bookkeeping and closing process of several legal entities
Ensure close process is completed in an accurate and timely manner - preparation of accruals, pre-paid releases, posting of bank transactions
Preparation and posting of journal entries
Preparation and reconciliation of tax returns
B/S accounts reconciliation, B/S and P/L analytical review
Support in Financial Statement preparation
Support audit of financial statements
Manage the preparation of all compliance documentation
Building and maintaining strong business relationship with Financial Controllers
Identifying opportunities for process improvements in GL area as well as driving & coordinating them
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Accountancy, Economics or Finance professional qualification (ACCA or equivalent)
Up to 3 years of GL/RtR experience
Very good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP literacy is desirable (Oracle, SAP)
Ability to work within a problem solving environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
Ability to manage tight reporting deadlines
Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, and reporting standards/procedures is an asset
SSC/BPO experience is a plus
Fluent English, additional European language nice to have
