Job Title: Senior R&D Financial Analyst Division: R&D Finance Reports To: Senior Manager R&D Finance Description: As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be responsible and expected to provide business partnership and technical analytical support to R&D leaders as they develop and execute their strategic priorities. You will support expense budgeting and forecasting processes for the global R&D enterprise, perform variance analysis, and conduct management reporting. Responsibilities will also include performing ad hoc analysis as needed. In addition, the person in this position will help the corporate finance team to work with various functions to develop and implement processes to support the needs of a growing company. Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinate and support budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and SEC reporting requirements Identify opportunities and highlight risks to the attainment of targeted metrics Drive and support finance and accounting improvement initiatives Support standard monthly variance analysis and reporting, consolidating large amounts of data into management summaries Partner with budget owners to drive improvements in forecasting and spending efficiencies Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and leverage operational efficiencies Drive and support finance and accounting improvement initiatives Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and consistency Strong interpersonal and team skills; ability to communicate clear and concisely; ability to work with multifunctional team in multiple geographies Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience Expert in Access, Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to handle large volumes of data Superior analytical abilities, team work capabilities and results-oriented nature Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (executives, managers and subject matter experts) Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines A high level of integrity and ability to enforce standards Prior experience in FP&A role Experience with BPC, SAP, HFM and smartview To apply for this position please click here
