A Management Accountant is being recruited for a fast growing manufacturing business based in Liverpool.

Description

As Management Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the accountancy function in all month end reporting and analysis, which includes:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis
• Cash flow forecasting
• Assisting in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting process
• Analysing variances on a monthly basis and reporting to the key stakeholders
• Stock management and carrying out stock takes on a monthly basis
• Responsible for all bills of materials and costing processes
• Purchase price variances and analysing usage

Profile

The successful applicant to the Management Accountant must have the following skills and experience:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA although candidates qualified by experience will be considered
• Ideally someone from a manufacturing background, with experience of stock control and costings
• Strong reporting skills and good with Excel
• Excellent communication skills and able to challenge and influence
• Flexible to the changing demands of the business
• Full understanding of the accountancy function
