Credit Controller NI Top 100 Employer Lisburn £18,000 - £20,000 plus benefits We have an opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a well established and successful manufacturer at their Lisburn offices to work as part of their Credit Control team and to provide a comprehensive, accurate and timely credit management. Reporting to and supported by the Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for; Managing your own customers within a dedicated geographical area You will ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, as per the Company's credit policy Manage own portfolio of accounts across several geographical areas (UK and Ireland) Deal effectively and on a daily basis with 'On Hold' orders in line with Company cut off times for manufacturing and wholesale Working to achieve monthly team cash collection targets set by Financial Controller and Credit Control Manager Working to achieve monthly KPIs set by Credit Control Manager Effectively dealing with customer account queries, including liaising with other departments, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion Effectively create and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Ensure all customer queries are logged and recorded on to the Enquiry Management system by creating support calls and ensuring they are resolved to minimise the impact on customer payment When required, handling of cash issues, including preparation of bank lodgement, reconciliation of sales ledger, taking cash / card payments Dealing with new accounts, including obtaining credit references, setting up account details and agreeing credit limits Report weekly to Credit Control Manager and Area Sales Managers on account status; i.e. Customers on stop, customers over credit limits and overdue debt analysis Inform the Credit Control Manager immediately of all important developments/problems and report on status of customer accounts on a regular basis We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate; A sound level of education; 5 GCSEs including Maths & English at grade C or above At least 2 years gained in credit control capacity to include experience of liaising with customers Sound level of IT literacy across MS Office suite Excellent communication skills including telephone and email Attention to detail and quality focused Ideally you'll possess one or more of the following; Accountancy training / qualification Experience gained in an FMCG or manufacturing setting In return you can expect an excellent package and benefits plan plus long term career development opportunities within an employer of choice and recognised Investor in People
