Description

  • Report to COO
  • Manage the Finance Officer (experienced)
  • Day to day financial management of the organisation
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts including reconciliations
  • Budget holder management
  • Lead on the planning of the annual budget preparation
  • Monitor the financial performance of charity and trading company
  • Lead on the planning and timely production of the annual statutory accounts
  • Cash flow forecasting, producing annual cash flow statements and in-year updates for finance Committee
  • Lead on the charity's VAT return and compliance processes
  • Treasury management and liaison with the bank and investment managers
  • Identify and implement process and systems improvements

Profile

To be considered you must:

  • Be CCAB qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • Have managed budgets, chashflow forecasts and management accounts
  • Have experience handling year end procedures
  • Have good excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups)
  • Be able to work autonomously and be proactive in approach to improving processes
  • Have willingness to be hands on with administrative tasks
  • Be an efficient communicator with internal and external stakeholders
  • Charity accounts experience beneficial
  • Job Offer

    • Up to £40k (able to offer £40k for right experience)
