A varied Accounts Assistant role, to work as part of a small Finance team, in a medium sized business.

Client Details

A medium sized business, based in offices in the Chertsey area with free parking provided and easy access via public transport.

Description

The Accounts Assistant role reports in to the Finance Manager and involves;

  • Raising invoices and allocating payments
  • Allocating client monies
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Daily payments (Bacs files/manual payment/International payment)
  • Statement run, and queries and emails
  • Credit Card payments
  • Contractor Queries
  • Inputting contractor invoices
  • Deposit account Rec & Account Reconciliation Report
  • Raising and registering deposits with the TDS
  • Deposit returns and calculations
  • Produce Tax Summaries as and when requested
  • Month end reports and reconciliations for fees and unallocated monies
  • NRL Tax setting reconciliation and changes
  • Manage own portfolio
  • Raising and processing credits
  • Commission payments
  • Setting up financial information clients
  • Adhoc projects
  • Profile

    The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant role will;

    • Have worked in a similar role previously
    • ideally be studying towards an AAT qualification
    • have intermediate Excel skills
    • will ideally have multi-currency experience (not essential)

    Job Offer

    The Accounts Assistant role can pay up to £22,000 - £24,000 + benefits (including AAT study support).
