Graduate Accounts Assistant

My client is a world leading technology and digital marketing consultancy based in Central London, they're looking for a passionate graduate to join their established finance team.

Description

The successful Graduate Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

- Revenue accounting

- Learn and apply revenue recognition rules

- Review new contracts and assist with the monthly booking and reconciliation of revenue

- Ensure the department complies with specified controls for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes

- Calculation of Sales Commissions

- Collate sales forms & contracts by sales staff, incorporate information in spreadsheets to calculate monthly commissions

- Prepare monthly scoreboards monitoring sales performance against targets

- Control of unbilled revenue accounts

- Assist with the monthly reconciliation of control accounts

- Coding and posting invoices onto the Company's accounting system

- Liaising with suppliers on the status of their invoices and helping to resolve queries

- Accurately filing paid invoices and other documents for the Accounts Payable team

- Withholding tax compliance

Profile

The successful Graduate Accounts Assistant will be/have:

- Russel Group Finance and Accounting Graduate (or related degree) 2:1 grade or above

- Exceptional Academics A-level & GCSE's

- A passion for the technology industry

- Strong communication skills

- Looking to study ACCA/ CIMA or other finance related qualification
