Hudson are working with a leading service provider in Australia and New Zealand. Fantastic opportunity for a senior project accountant to join this ASX 100 company on the south side of Brisbane for a 12 month fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic plan for Finance
- Develop the Business Unit operational business plan, ensuring alignment with the Leadership plan
- Prepare budgets and forecasts within specified timeframes
- Pursue outstanding client debts, in consultation with external collection agencies
- Manage Alliance Partner payment expectations
- Produce internal financial reporting timetable to ensure timely review and delivery of all reporting requirements
- Prepare, analyse, and present operational monthly financial reports
- Develop and implement management reporting
To be successful in this role you will require:
- CA/CPA/ACCA qualification
- Extensive accounting experience within a commercial organisation with an emphasis Project Accounting
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and interpreting commercial arrangements associated with contracting arrangements
- Previous management experience essential
- Advanced excel skills
