To work together with the payroll team to process the payroll on a monthly basis and other required tasks expected of the Salaries Office.

Description
Monthly Basis
- Process end to end payroll for around 400 employees on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the Pensions payroll.
- Calculate statutory payments including SMP and issue correspondence to employees following calculations.
- Update payroll system with absences.
- Monitor auto enrolment on a monthly basis.
- Provide auto enrolment information to the pension provider on a monthly basis along with the monthly pensions breakdown for payment.
- Through audit checking of input into the system.
- Assist with all tasks required to reconcile payroll reports before sign off.
- Assist with all tasks required for RTI.
- End of period reporting to relevant departments.
- Assist colleagues with any issues that arise.
- Reconcile tax and national insurance for payment.
Ongoing Basis
- Ensure the system remains data cleansed.
- Assist with implementation of the new HR and Payroll system by September 2017.
- Produce manual calculations as and when requested.
- Assist with any payroll query within the salaries office.
- Assist with any pension queries within the salaries office.
- Produce reports from the system as and when requested from HR, Finance or the Bursar.
- Complete various employer reference requests for Mortgages/rentals.

To be for this role you must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of the payroll function and that you are dedicated to a career within payroll.
Job Offer
