General Accountancy Practice Partner

A highly successful firm of chartered accountants, undergoing continued growth is looking to recruit a general accountancy practice Partner as an all -round adviser to wide ranging clients, based in the firms Taunton offices. You will play a key, lead role in the further growth and development of this successful office. Equity options along with salaried routes on offer.

Based in Taunton, this leading regional firm of chartered accountants is planning for the ongoing future success and growth of its business. Due to a clear need to invest and further develop their Taunton offices to take full advantge of the firms ongoing success, the firm is looking for an all around, general accountancy practice advisor who can lead the development and growth of this arm of the business. The firm's clients in this area are wide ranging in sector, turnover and industry range, from entrepreneurial start ups, sole traders, partnerships, along with more significant proportion of OMBs and SMEs, into the £millions of turnover across varied industry sectors.

Description

You will join the firm as a Partner, on either an equity/profit share basis, or as a salaried Partner/Associate Partner, with a view to progressing into Partnership, all mouldable around the right individuals preferences and level. You will bring a career strength and background as an all-round accounts, tax adviser to sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs across varied industries and turnovers up into the £millions. You will oversee and manage a large portfolio of clients and team delivering on this, undertaking a client facing advisory service to clients.looking to develop relationships with the clients and drive the growth of this department in a business development focused capacity, winning new work. You will manage the wider team and oversee the delivery of compliance and advisory projects, working with the wider management and support team on this. This hire is a key addition to this growing business with the opportunity to carve an influential position.

Profile

You will hold any of ACA /ACCA/ CTA qualified, practising certificate etc, with a strong background in accountancy practice having developed your career to Partner/Director level on either a salaried basis, or equity/profit share. You will have skills across the range of accounts, tax, advisory and planning skills as a general, all around practitioner. You will be looking for a challenging career move where you can carve a pivotal role, driving the future growth and development of this successful offices. You may be a Somerset based professional, of small, medium/large size, mid tier, or top tier firm background, or looking to relocate to the South West in a long term lifestyle and career move seeking a challenging opportunity in the profession at this level.

Job Offer
