Description of business unit
ROI Collections is responsible for managing unsecured personal debt cases which fall into arrears. The unit works within regulatory guidelines to work with customers to help remediate the arrears position by putting in place solutions that are mutually acceptable and sustainable.
Purpose of the Role
The primary objective of the Collections role is to contact customers to help them remediate their arrears position on their personal debt.
Key Accountabilities
- Contact customers daily to help resolve financial difficulties
- Deliver a consistently high quality service both to internal and external customers
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Take responsibility for own workload and managing case load to completion
- Completing all activities in accordance to procedures and operational controls
- Log and resolve customer complaints and report any breaches to team lead
- Support team lead with opportunities to improve current processes to increase efficiencies

Essential Qualifications
Minimum Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Preferably 3rd level qualification.

- Strong organisational skills and process adherence skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- 3rd level Qualification
- APA in Loans and Regulations or full QFA or working towards it
- Experience in other office or administrative roles
- Experience in similar Financial Services roles
- Advanced IT skills in the use of Microsoft products - Excel , Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
