Description

Joining the firm as an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior, based in Exeter, working closely with managers and a highly experienced team, you will work within this close knit team, providing varied, general practice services.

Your duties in this varied and interesting role will include:

Dealing with the completion of annual accounts and tax computations, for both incorporated and un-incorporated businesses up to £5M turnover.
Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email.
Providing varied administrative and business set-up services for clients.
Training student staff and acting in a support capacity.

You will develop and progress within this growing firm of accountants.

Profile

This role would suit a candidate who meets the following criteria:

You may be AAT qualified, and/or studying towards ACCA qualification, part qualified, or finalist level.
Previous experience in accounts preparation for partnerships/ LLPs and limited companies, working within an accountancy practice environment. Ideally experience with Sage and Xero accounting software, would be beneficial
Familiarisation with personal and business tax regulations, plus VAT and PAYE, would also be a bonus. You will be a team player and with the ability to prioritise workload and to work to tight deadlines and will be looking to further your career, within a leading and growing firm of accountants.

Job Offer
