Our client based in Wrexham are looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading firm of Chartered Accountants and provide a range of accountancy, audit, taxation and business support services to an array of clients.
Remuneration package
£22k - £28k per annum dependant on experience
Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm (Some flexibility can be given)
Responsibilities
Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership & Limited Company accounts.
Preparation of both Company and Personal Tax Returns.
Preparation of VAT returns including compliance with Making Tax Digital.
Preparation of Rental Accounts.
Managing a Client Portfolio.
Being the first point of contact for clients under your supervision.
Ad hoc client work.
Advising on accounts and business matters.
Liaise with clients, accountants and colleagues on the telephone and in person.
Skills Required
Audit experience an advantage but isn't compulsory.
Charity accounts experience also an advantage but isn't a must have.
Five years' experience within a similar position would be ideal.
Experience of producing financial statements for both Companies House and HMRC under FRS102 Schedule 1A and FRS105.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
Experience of using Sage, Kashflow and Quickbooks would be desirable.
Experience of working within a Practice environment.
Excellent IT skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
