Description
Joining the team, based in Plymouth, as a Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for providing a range of general practice services to mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will prepare accounts and financial statements, personal and corporate tax, advise clients on bookkeeping, VAT, PAYE and potential involvement in audit for Corporate clients, charities and solicitors with training and support on offer to develop the skills assisting on audits for the right candidate. You may have involvement in management accounts, cashflow and forecasting for clients, inland revenue investigations and work closely with partners on projects . The partners are looking for an individual who can become a valued addition to an established team and progress within the organisation with increasing responsibility and client contact.
Profile
You will have at least 2 - 4 years or more experience specifically gained within an accountancy practice firm environment, as a Senior Accountant, or similar level, preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping and providing other services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You may hold AAT, or part/finalist ACCA qualification, or you may be experienced only, with significant experience in practice and be looking for new challenging opportunity, within a growing firm of accountants.

Circa £19,000 - £28,000 plus dependent on experience and background, plus benefits
