We are a world class leading Bank and we have a role in our Wealth Management Group Internal Audit Team.

Manage and lead internal audit engagements related to Wealth Management to provide ongoing assurance over the effectiveness of the design and implementation of controls.

Perform risk assessment of various businesses and assist in defining the audit strategy for the unit.
Deliver the audit plan established in conjunction with the Functional Audit Teams.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members
2. Perform, support, lead or manage where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines
3. Perform regular risk assessment and continuous monitoring activities for areas of responsibility
4. Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group
5. Where undertaking the role of Team Leader / Manager, provide interim performance feedback to team members
6. Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development
7. Identify and escalate significant issues

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner with an extensive background in or covering Wealth Management, Insurance ,or related areas, with focus on Product management, Suitability and sales controls.
2. Accounting / Audit qualification preferred (including e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA, CA, CPA)
3. Investment management qualifications such as a CFA is a plus
4. Effective written and presentation skills
5. Strong communicator with an ability to influence
6. Highly credible with their counterparts in the business
7. Up to date with developments within their area of expertise
8. Ability to work with minimal direction
9. Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the Group's core values
10. Ability to commit to up to 40% business travel
