The Credit Portfolio Executive Group Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to monitor the Citi portfolio and identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to lead the management of Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple teams of senior professionals and lead teams responsible for new account strategy development, account management strategy development, non-scoring models, compliance with partner contract SLAs and management, Operating Committee engagement, internal and external oversight reviews and meeting and exceeding Partner/Citi Profit & Loss (P&L) and performance expectations
  • Ensure a consistent control environment across portfolios and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to manage operational risk, ensuring oversight of key contractual deliverables
  • Identify opportunities to improve business performance, effectiveness and efficiency through process improvements and talent management
  • Negotiate internally and externally to have major impact on the area managed and possibly on other related areas and organization as a whole
  • Support portfolio performance monitoring and diagnostics
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in people management
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and direct competitors' products/services
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and the current environment which govern our policies and practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of strategic direction of the function including related systems, theories and practices
  • Comprehensive conceptual/practical grounding in the function and/or expertise in related subject areas
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication to influence and negotiate with a wide range of audiences
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
