Responsibilities
- Implement new tax requirements in the subsidiaries, ensure proper accounting and mapping of the taxes
- Calculation of the corporate tax and deferred tax on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Reconciliation of the tax GLs
- Tax assurance on all lines subject to tax to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Reviewing tax exposure points on an ongoing basis through regular compliance checks for the subsidiaries
- Facilitate smooth flow of all tax audits conducted by the revenue authority as well as the external auditors/consultants
- Create tax awareness across the subsidiaries
- Improving the tax payment process by ensuring all taxes are accounted and paid on time; and
- Maintain legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting and implementing new or revised tax laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar or related role
- CPA III Finalist / ACCA qualifications will be an added advantage
- Experience in tax or a tax experience in an audit firms will be an added advantage
- Good Knowledge of filling tax returns and experience liaising with tax authorities

- Good Knowledge of general accounting principle and practices
