Senior Finance Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director of this £30m t/o subsidiary business, you will be the number 1 in finance and form a crucial part of the Senior Management Team.

My client are unique in their field and with multiple revenue streams, are targeting double-digit growth this year. Owned by Private Equity they have aggressive targets but the capability and team to get there.

Description

Reporting financial performance, forecasting and planning to Group will form the bulk of your role. There will also be heavy emphasis on capital financial appraisals as well as providing leadership and coaching to the wider team when it comes to challenging and improving financial performance.

• Ensure proper financial controls are in place and adhered to
• Monthly reporting to the leadership group, including analysis and variance
• Budgetary reviews with department heads
• Manage the forecasting and planning cycles
• Review all capital investment business cases (circa £6m for 2017)
• Financial governance of capex
• Develop and manage 1 qualified member of staff

Profile

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and have extensive experience in the areas detailed above. Particular emphasis will be on the capital appraisals so this would be a real plus.
